My personal go-to card spread is based on the Sun Lodge spread and the Celtic Cross. It’s a spiral pattern culminating in a right-handed staff, which represents the elements, Western metaphysical correspondences and the Celtic Pagan year wheel. The the spiral represents body, mind, spirit, emotions and center while the staff position is a riff… Read More
I had a hard week on all levels of my being –physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I’m not new to the raucous life rodeo, but these last days have kicked my ass. Usually at least one of my antennae seems to be on straight, but this week I felt as if I was totally off… Read More
I went to see Barbie with two friends of mine earlier this year. Together we spanned three generations of women. The youngest pushed me to go. “You have to go” she emphasized with urgency. “You have to!” So we went, snacks abounding, to the movie theater which was a treat after the isolation of Covid.… Read More

This happened to my company’s flourishing garden as well. It felt like the dying happened overnight and I felt a horrible sense of dread… Read More

This is how I understand my own bouts with psychic disturbances such as depression and anxiety that… Read More
I’m stuck! I was thinking this as I face an increased work load in a job I want to leave and because I am at a loss to manifest the many new avenues of creation I desire to explore. I have been fighting futility because I can’t envision what could be next for me in… Read More
